God's Own Junkyard
This project combined professional venue photography with bespoke stereoscopic animations to create a distinctive visual story that brought the space to life.
Rather than simply documenting the venue, the shoot focused on creating a sense of atmosphere, movement and personality by incorporating Paola as a muse within the environment. Her presence helped create a narrative around the space, highlighting its character and allowing viewers to experience the venue from a more engaging and emotive perspective.

Project Focus
God’s Own Junkyard is unlike almost any other venue in London. Every corner is filled with vibrant neon artwork, vintage signs and bold colours, creating an atmosphere that’s impossible to ignore. The brief wasn’t simply to photograph the space – it was to capture its personality.
Alongside creating a comprehensive library of professional venue photography, the project introduced a second creative objective: transforming selected photographs into stereoscopic animations that would give the imagery an added sense of depth and movement. These subtle animations were designed to help the venue stand out across digital platforms, offering visitors something unexpected that encourages them to pause and engage.
Careful consideration was given to composition during the photography itself, selecting viewpoints and subjects that would translate effectively into layered stereoscopic animations. Every image was captured with the final creative output already in mind, ensuring the transition from still photograph to animated content felt seamless and natural.
The finished collection provides God’s Own Junkyard with a versatile library of creative assets that can be used across social media campaigns, website banners, email newsletters, digital advertising and future promotional activity, helping the venue showcase its unique character in a way that traditional photography alone simply can’t achieve.
